MSP with Girl's Basketball Team!

Coach Randall has worked with our program for a little over a year now and beyond the strength and agility gained- my kids are more serious about their time in the weight room. Because they are seeing real results they understand the value of our time spent training. They do not get bored because just as they are getting comfortable with the movements it’s time to change it up and progress- this keeps it interesting and challenging! Coach Randall goes above and beyond to make sure that we are getting what we need and spends quite a bit of time evaluating my athletes and providing useful feedback. She has helped take our program to the next level!

I almost left out the best part!!! Because Coach Randall closely works with me to learn about each individual in our program, it takes the load off of me to develop our training program. This part of coaching has become absolutely stress-free for me and has allowed me to focus on our performance on the court! That, to me, is invaluable.

Coach Randall has played a crucial role in my athletic career. The attention to detail and planning of her training programs is unmatched. Not only am I the strongest I have ever been, but I’m also the healthiest. From injury prevention to nutrition, Coach Randall has provided me with individual guidance specific to my personal goals. Being able to perform at an elite level is a hard task but with the help of Coach Randall and Max Sports Performance, I feel more prepared than ever before.

For anyone looking to accomplish any fitness goal Dr. Randall is the perfect trainer to get you there. I had just picked up playing volleyball for fun and asked Dr. Randall to help me jump higher because she had previously got me into the best shape of my life. The next week I had a training plan personalized to my goal of jumping higher for volleyball. I just followed the program for the next 6 months and did nothing else super special to increase my jump height. For reference at 5'10" I was able to go from barely getting a finger on the rim of a basketball hoop to being able to hang onto the rim with both hands. As soon as I didn't feel like trying to jump higher, Dr. Randall made me a new plan to just generally get stronger and gain muscle. She took into account how much I was eating, how long I like my workouts, and when I can workout. This all combined with the motivation she gives and check-ins every week make it easier to workout than it is to not. I know I will be a patron of Max Sports Performance for the foreseeable future because I know I will have a great coach and workouts tailored to whatever random physical goal I want to achieve.

Anyone looking for an extremely motivating, smart, and fun trainer this is the one!! Coach Randall helped me recover from an ACL injury by pushing me, but by also always having my safety as her top concern. She’s an incredible all around trainer.

Major increases in my athletic performance!

The training Coach Randall had me go through spiked my performance in several ways. I was actually targeting the muscles I was supposed to be while gaining physical strength. With her challenging me, I quickly noticed the strength I had developed due to my performance on the field. Her training made me more explosive on the base paths, my swing, and my overhand throw where it went from 67 MPH to 71 MPH. She did not only challenge me in the weight room, she also challenged me in conditioning and stretching. Whether it was a long day of practice or a pressured situation during an important game, Coach Randall prepared me made me feel confident in myself and that I was capable of getting the job done.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Dr. Randall. Swimming is a difficult sport to coach because so much of what we do has to be abstractly translated into something that can be practiced and perfected on land and Dr. Allison showed creativity and ingenuity that I haven’t experienced with many coaches. Her approach to coaching made me confident that my performance was going to exponentially improve in the pool. She also did a fantastic job in keeping me in shape during off season while targeting specific weaknesses that we can’t work on during competition.

Coach Randall Knows Her Stuff!

The way in which Coach Randall trained myself and fellow student-athletes shows her dedication and passion for what she does. Under her instruction, I not only became a better player physically, but mentally and I gained the confidence to become a leader for my team. There were changes in my body composition and overall athletic ability on the volleyball court. For example, I saw improvements in my speed and court movements and reaction to the ball. In addition, I saw great improvement in my core strength. I always felt prepared to play from the first game of the season to the last.

Dr. Allison Randall will push you to be the best version of yourself

Dr. Allison Randall has successfully coached me through a variety of sports and circumstances. When I was doing Division 1 Cheerleading for Virginia Tech and needed absolute strength, she trained me to put on 15-20 pounds of muscle and all of my maxes went up by a minimum of 30% over a 2-year period. Now that I am competing in Brazilian jiu jitsu and need to be lean, powerful, and mobile, I have trimmed down to around the weight I started at but maintained much of my strength while gaining mobility and endurance which help me in my fights (but also has me in arguably the best shape of my entire life). Her workouts are both challenging and fun. She mixes up the routine to keep things interesting all while working towards your established and personalized goals. Her coaching style challenges me to push well beyond where I would push myself on my own in the gym. She does all of this while staying strict on me with form and working around the various injuries that I may face from my sports. I can’t recommend Dr. Allison Randall enough to anyone who wants to get serious about meeting their goals whether it be athletic performance or just to look/feel your best.
